Sound journeys

Sound journeys in the group or in individual sessions

Duration 30 minutes - 3 hours - depending on the event.

Sound journeys are events in which one or more musicians with the voice and specifically tuned instruments help the listeners into a deeply relaxed state.

The sound or the tones address the original trust / primordial trust of the human being. This subconsciously brings security.

One lets go.  The muscles relax very quickly. One immediately reaches a physical and emotional relaxation, so that one very quickly comes into a very deep relaxation (similar to the falling asleep or waking up phase, also called alpha phase).

In this energetic field there is room for development and reorganization. This is beneficial to health because it activates and awakens the body's self-healing powers. The energy flow in the body is stimulated. Blockages in the head and body can be released. Stress is reduced, mentally and physically.

Inner and outer balance is promoted, equilibrium is restored. Creativity and imagination are stimulated.

The sounds caress and pamper body, mind and soul.

Sound journey - the attempt of a description

You sail a river with an experienced skipper. A river that flows along in its natural bed. A river that sometimes rushes unrestrained and loudly, in wild, rugged landscapes, then again glides along in almost complete silence and lets you dream.

A constant river, always the same and yet permanently changing.

And while you glide along, you perceive the sounds around you. Sounds of the waves, sounds of the wind. Sounds of animals. But you do not try to classify them, it is not important.

Because there is only one thing that is important at this moment - the feeling and the knowledge that you are a part of creation, of nature. That you belong to it, like every being that exists. Just as you are.

You too are now the river, always the same and permanently changing.

So you float along and the only real condition to enjoy the journey is that you trust your boatman.

And finally you reach with the river where everything ends and everything begins. Into the sea - where everything unites again.

My personal sound journey

At the beginning of my personal sound journey, which has now lasted for more than 30 years, I had the good fortune to play with musicians from other parts of the world (Asia, Africa, South America and Australia). They played instruments that until then I had only known from recordings (didgeridoo, shakuhachi, kopichan, tanpura, etc.) and I was fascinated. I felt a deep relaxation that I had never known before. So I slowly learned to listen more and more. I became more and more involved with relaxation through sound, and the fascination has not diminished to this day.
